Charm Lanka Co., Ltd. was founded in 1996, launching its vehicle export business with a primary focus on Sri Lanka. With a commitment to delivering the superior quality and reliability of Japanese vehicles to the Sri Lankan market, the company tailored its export operations to meet the needs of local customers.

2000 – Global Expansion
Building on its initial success, the company expanded its reach to global markets, including Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and several African nations. Alongside Japanese vehicles, the company also began exporting used car tires. In Japan, Charm Lanka became a registered member of major automotive auction houses such as USS, JU, TAA, and ARAI, ensuring a wide and high-quality selection of vehicles for export.

2015 – Founding of Red Ruby Co., Ltd.
Inheriting the expertise of Charm Lanka, Red Ruby Co., Ltd. was established in 2015 to further develop the export business. In addition to vehicle exports, the company began offering value-added services such as installing aero parts and optional accessories, repairing accident-damaged cars, and performing bodywork and painting. These services were designed to maintain and enhance the quality of Japanese vehicles before export.

Making High-Quality Japanese Cars More Accessible Since 2015
Japanese cars are highly popular due to their exceptional quality and reliability. However, due to high tariffs and import duties, the cost of purchasing a Japanese vehicle is often beyond the reach of the average citizen.
With a strong desire to make high-quality Japanese vehicles more accessible to the people we established our company in 2015. procurement operations, enabling us to source well-maintained, slightly older models at more affordable prices.
Our founder and CEO has been engaged in the gemstone trade for over 40 years, personally importing precious stones from Sri Lanka and operating a wholesale jewelry business in Japan. In 2015, as part of a strategic business expansion, the company was incorporated, and the founders established separate entities to optimize operations—one focusing on vehicle exports and the other on procurement and sourcing.
